My Letters to him, to you, to the world.

"Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that all was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, and make it possible." -T.E. Lawrence

Day 26 of how to increase your intelligence:

Try your hand at puzzles.

Problem solving is like anything else; it is the result of practice, practice, practice. Repetitious problem solving will make you a better problem solver and therefore, more intelligent.

Day 25 of how to increase your intelligence:

Record your dreams and implement them into short story forms.

Day 24 of how to increase your intelligence:

Write down any and all ideas that cross your mind.

You never know, they might just be good ones!

Day 23 of how to increase your intelligence:

Take responsibility and learn from your mistakes.

Never blame others. Also, don’t ever denounce people as stupid, rather try to convey to them on their level. As Confucius once said, “Do not be appalled at being misunderstood, but rather be appalled at not being understanding.” When you learn to communicate to people on all levels and in all retrospects that is true wisdom gained.

Day 22 of how to increase your intelligence:

Pursue your talents, whatever they may be.

If you never pursue your talents you will never get good at anything. If you’re good at reading read like the wind. If you’re good at rock climbing, challenge yourself to the max. Talents only manifest themselves when you pursue them and there on give you a sense of self-worth and accomplishment. And the more confident you are in your abilities and the higher you will reach which in turn, yes, increases your intelligence.

Day 21 of how to increase your intelligence:

Be aware and practice the 4 types of perception: apperception(mind), proprioception(body), subception(driving, etc), projectoception(the information recieved, like how an ordinary man in a uniform suddenly has more respect)

When you become blatant keen and aware of these things, you begin to stimulate your brain and alert it to the realities and thus you may come across new information worth knowing.

Day 20 of how to increase your intelligence:

I am, myself, still radically changing. What I thought was true about me yesterday is not a true statement today. I am wiser every time I close my eyes, and yet I still don’t know what I truly want from life. The only things that never go away are ‘want’ and the desire to have sex. It is in that essence and on that ground that we are all human beings. No matter how much we change, and no matter how smart we are, at the core we are nothing more than clever beasts.

Day 19 of how to increase your intelligence:

Never lose your sense of curiosity.

Keep asking questions! Always wonder about how things work and the world. The day you stop asking questions is the day you loose that passion and drive for life that every child is born with. Don’t let the failures of the modern education system draw you away from being inquisitive. Question. Everything.

Day 18 of how to increase your intelligence:

Never rely on others, only rely on yourself.

Or a better way to put it: Don’t become dependent on others. When you become dependent on others you become lazy and less independent. It’s as the saying goes: give a man a fish he eats for a day, teach a man to fish he eats for a life time.
That’s not to say it’s bad to let others do things kind things for you, just don’t become dependent on that kindness; never take it for granted.

Day 17 of how to increase your intelligence:

Have Patience.

When you have more patience, you are less likely to make rash decisions and as a result are less likely to draw the wrong conclusions about things. Stay calm, patient, open minded and aware.

Day 16 of how to increase your intelligence..

Persistence.

I find that most of what can be achieved in life happens through the power of persistence. the refusal to never give up and to never take no for an answer. To know when things are worth fighting for may be smart, but intelligence is to realize that during that struggle, although the end seems far, that it will pay off. The only way you can fail is to never try. Persist and you will be paid for your efforts.

Day 15 of how to increase your intelligence..

Believe in yourself.

When you believe in yourself and you have high expectations for yourself then you will rise to the challenge. If you expect yourself to be able to complete tasks and solve things then you will rise to the challenge. Incidently, if you have little faith in your abilities you will never exceed your own expectations.

I heard this quote somewhere a while ago and although I know not the author it still rings clear in my head:

“Obedience is the greatest obstacle to discovering who you are- obedience to others, obedience to your own beliefs about your limitations.”

Day 14 of how to increase your intelligence:

Learn new vocabulary every day and use it.

Language is a key factor in intelligence, to know how to convey your ideas and to implement them in every day life in your native tongue is a sign of intelligence. In addition, work on public speaking. Try recording yourself speaking with your new vocabulary. Your self-improvement will reflect your ability to adapt to a different thought process and the more you think outside the box the smarter you will be.

Day 13 of how to increase your intelligence..

Exercise.

This is a given. Exercise is good for the body for many reasons. Not only does it keep you healthy and improve blood circulation, it also releases endorphin’s that help prevent depression. In addition, it also helps the body to release stress in a positive manner, the end result being that the body won’t be so restless and that it can focus more on the tasks at hand. So, exercise for an hour a day to improve your ability to focus and in turn increase your intelligence.
